Liz McLafferty
About
Liz was born and raised in the Seattle area. She earned undergraduate degrees in Psychology and Political Science from Western Washington University graduating with honors in 2009. In 2012, Liz graduated with honors from the Seattle University School of Law. She also served as a law clerk extern to the Honorable Ricardo S. Martinez at the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Washington. Since she began her legal career, Liz has focused her work primarily on product liability litigation, wrongful death, serious personal injury, and medical negligence. Liz’s product liability experience ranges from automobile defects to consumer products.
Background and Experience
Liz is a current chair of the Washington State Association for Justice (WSAJ) New Member Committee, and is on the WSAJ Board of Governors. Liz has written articles and chapters primarily focused on product liability. Her recent work includes chapters in the WSAJ Product Liability Deskbook, and a forthcoming chapter in the WSAJ Motor Vehicle Litigation Deskbook. She is listed as a “Rising Star” by Super Lawyers and has a 10 out of 10 rating on Avvo.com.
